Miscouche school gets AED from council
The Community of Miscouche was recently approached by John Mitchell, from Mitchell First Aid Services, to see if council would purchase an AED device for the community’s school. He was on a mission to try and get an AED device in every school in the western part of the province. Council purchased three of the life-saving devices for their community. One was designated for Miscouche Consolidated School, one was placed at the fire hall for the community office and seniors room, and the other was for the Miscouche Community Rec Centre. Recently one of the AED devices was presented to Miscouche Consolidated School and involved, from left: Scott MacDonald, school principal, Sue Gogan, vice-principal, Auldine Arsenault, Miscouche resident, school mascot, John Gillis, Miscouche councillor, Ivan Blanchard, Miscouche chairman, Mitchell and his granddaughter Allie Myers.
