BERNARD, NÉLIDA MARY (NEE BARRIAULT)

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nélida Mary (nee Baurriault) Bernard at the age of 85 years, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday March 17th, 2018 of Lennox Island. Nélida was born in Maxiville on February 19th, 1933, daughter of the late Joseph and Clarisse Barriault. She was a devoted wife to the late Euclide Bernard and loving mother to Caroline (Paul) Brenton, Raymond (Brenda), Roger (Thelma), Michael (Pamala), Linda (Roger) Dunn and Donald (Darlene). Nélida is survived by her 16 grand children and 13 great-grand children. Will be forever remembered by her brother Eric (Cécile deceased), sisters Mélina (Dolor) Gallant, Bibienne (Urbain) Bernard and Aline (Réné) Richard. Nélida was predeceased by her parents, husband and brother John Barriault. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Wednesday March 21, then to St. Anne Church, Lennox Island where funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church Cemetery, Egmont Bay at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Nélida memory to Les doight magique, to the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated.
