It is with great sadness that the family of Glenn Elaine MacNevin of O’Leary, P.E.I. announce her passing on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the age of 95 years, beloved wife of the late Neil “Harvey” MacNevin.

Glenn’s peaceful passing occurred at the O’Leary Community Hospital. Glenn was born in O’Leary on February 26, 1923, daughter of the late “Dot” Stanley and Mae Louise (MacLennan) Gorrill. She was a beloved teacher at the O’Leary School (1942-1944), a homemaker, and an active member of the O’Leary Women’s Institute. Cherished mother to David (Tanyse), Oshawa ON and Robert (Diana), New Westminste­r B.C. Loving grandmothe­r to Tara (Tim) Vanderheid­e, Ryan (Darcy), and Ellen. Great grandmothe­r to Abigail, Jillian, Lukas, Brayden and Alyssa. Dear sister-in-law to Thelma Dumville, O’Leary and Florence Stewart, Belleville Ontario, she will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and close friends. Glenn was predecease­d by her parents, husband Harvey (1974) and sister Shirley (Thiren) Ellis, and brother-inlaw, Thiren Ellis. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Friday from 6-9 p.m., Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow this spring at the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Milo. In memory of Glenn, memorials to the O’Leary United Church Siding Fund or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciate­d.
