The funeral for Darlene Marie Schurman of Spring Valley was held Saturday April 14, 2018 from the Davison Funeral Home Kensington to St. Mary’s Holy Family Church, Kensington where the service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Father Greg Conway. The Gospel was read by Parish Priest Father Frank Jay. The prayers of the Faithful were offered by Rev. Chesley Boutilier who also gave words of remembrance. The first reading was given by Bernice Perry. The second reading was given by Krista Schurman. The Opening Hymn, Be Not Afraid and offertory Hymn Gentle Women were rendered by Kim Albert and Michael Arsenault. The Communion Hymn Come to The Water was rendered by Holly and Robyn Perry accompanied by Michael Arsenault. Post communion Piano Solo Shooting Stars in Summer was played by Matthew Arsenault. The Recessional Piano solo Amazing Grace was played by Colin Arsenault. The Gifts were brought to the altar by Shelley Schurman, Alexis and Natasha Schurman. Bulletins were distributed by Joni Miner, Ben Schurman and Quinton Schurman. Urn Bearers were Jennifer Miner & Joni Miner. Photo Bearer was Shelley Schurman. Interment was in People’s Cemetery Kensington With Father Conway and Rev. Boutilier officiating.
