Blizzard, Mariners split one-goal games

EDMUNDSTON, N.B. – The MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League) championship series is tied 1-1.

The Edmundston Blizzard and Yarmouth Mariners split the first two games in Edmundston, N.B., on Saturday and Sunday.

The Blizzard won Game 1 by a 6-5 score in double overtime, but the Mariners bounced back to win 1-0 in Game 2.

The series shifts to Yarmouth, N.S., for Games 3 and 4 on Thursday and Friday.
