SUSPENSION­S ISSUED

West Prince RCMP issued several suspension­s and vehicular impoundmen­ts during a recent series of checkpoint­s. The checks were conducted on June 11 and into the early hours of June 12. As a result, an 18-year-old driver from Tignish was issued a sevenday driving suspension and his car was impounded for three days as a result of his failure of a breath exam. A 19-year-old female driver from O’Leary was also suspended for seven days and her vehicle was impounded for three days as a result of a failed roadside screening test.
