Madsen pleads guilty to theft
SUMMERSIDE – Jared James Madsen pleaded guilty to theft not exceeding $5,000. The 25-year-old Kensington man appeared in Summerside Provincial Court on Thursday to answer to charges resulting from a Feb. 15 incident where he stole a ring. He was sentenced to seven days of intermittent imprisonment, 12 months probation and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.
