Illustrated talk by Earle Lockerby at Keir Memorial Museum, Malpeque. Presentation: “Excellence and Benevolence: Fanning Grammar School.” School building, one of oldest rural schools on P.E.I. (about 1830), still stands in Cabot Park in Malpeque. Connection to family of Governor Fanning and one of three grammar schools established on Island, providing higher level of education.
