SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT

Lobster fishing is hard work, and no one knows that better than the Island’s lobster fishers and their crews. To celebrate their work in the industry that contributes millions of dollars to the Island economy, the 2018 Lobster Carnival is hosting the Journal Pioneer lobster trap stacking competition with a first prize of $1,000. The competition is open to lobster fishers and their crew members. Competitors will be judged on time and neatness of their stacked traps. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. at the entertainment tent and courtyard on the carnival grounds.
