Historian Katherine Dewar giving illustrate­d talk entitled, “Called to Serve: Georgina Pope, Canadian Military Nursing Heroine,” based on her book of same name. At Bedeque Area Museum, Central Bedeque. Dewar telling story of Island-born Georgina Pope, one of Canada’s most decorated nurses in First World War.
