Champion sentenced

SUMMERSIDE – Kyle Amelio Champion, 28, of Margate, has pleaded guilty to two counts of assault against two different victims, both women, and one count of mischief for damaging someone else’s property. The charges are from an incident on Sept. 9 in Kensington. Champion was sentenced to 17 days in jail, to be followed by 12 months of probation, and must pay $300 in victim surcharges.
