Crossing guards on duty

KENSINGTON — Walking to and from school here will hopefully be a little safer now that four volunteers have stepped forward to act as crossing guards. They have received the required training and were scheduled to start manning the crosswalks on Sept. 10. They will cover Monday to Thursdays and rotate Friday shifts based on their availability, supplemented by public works staff as required.
