The funeral for the late Paul Joseph Buote beloved husband to Olive Mary (nee Gallant) Buote of Tignish was held on Wednesday November 7,2018 from the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel Alberton to St. Simon and St. Jude Church Tignish where funeral mass was celebrated at 10;30 a.m. by the Rev. John Molina who delivered the homily and had the prayers of final commendation and farewell. The first reading was addressed by Krista Newman. The second reading was addressed by Nora Buote. The prayers of the faithful were invited by Keisha Boudreault. The Eucharistic ministers were. Seminarian Walter Flynn, James Hogan and Albert Shea. The Crucifer was Louis Shea and the candle bearers were Charles Bernard and Albert Shea. The alter server was James Hogan. The choir was under the direction of Vincent Doucette. The organist was Anita Doucette. The processional hymn was The Lords My Shepherd. The psalm was I Will Praise Your Name Forever My King and My God. The offertory hymn was I Will Never Forget You My People. The communion hymn was Peace Is Flowing Like A River The song of Farewell was Songs of the Angels. The recessional hymn was Amazing Grace. The pallbearers were grandsons Steven Buote, Jeffery Buote, Bronson Buote, Lance Buote, Derrick, Buote, Traven Buote. The flower bearers were Stacey Gaudet, Keisha Boudreault, Sarah Arsenault, Krista Newman. Everyone present for the funeral liturgy were considered to be Honorary Pallbearers. Interment was in the church cemetery with Rev. John Molina officiating.
