Congratulations to our most recent Student of the Week Blake Hamill.
Blazer Blizzard
The Blazer Blizzard Christmas dance will be held on Sat., Dec. 1, from 8-11 p.m. This was the biggest dance we had last year, and it was a blast. You don’t need to have a date, just show up as many did. The dress is semi-formal. Students will not be admitted until 7:45 p.m. The doors close at 9 p.m. Students can buy tickets beforehand for $10 or at the door for $15.

2019 Grad News
The grads held a very successful Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Nov. 18, raising $1,135 for Safe Grad Night. Thanks to all who helped in any way! The November Grad Activity will be playing pool at Dooley’s and then going for pizza at Dino’s after school on Nov. 28.
Remembrance Day Service
Thank you to members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 Borden-Carleton for participating in our Remembrance Day Service on Nov. 7. A special thanks to Kirk White & the KRHS Band, Ryan McAleer, Grace Smith, Daniel Arsenault, Morgan MacLean, Mya Kent, Matthew Murphy, Alex Pickering, Brooke McCardle, Rebecca Green, Dakota MacWilliams & Hannah Rogers. Thank you also to Kirk White & the KRHS band members for participating in our local Remembrance Day services in Borden-Carleton & Kinkora on Nov. 11.
Encounters with Canada 2018-2019
Welcome back to Grade 10 student Ty Arsenault was attending Encounters with Canada in Ottawa from Nov. 18 to 24. The theme of his week was Sports & Fitness.
OHS Leadership Program
The Workers Compensation Board of P.E.I.’s Occupational Health & Safety Leadership Program is in full swing at KRHS. Our OHS leaders for the 2018/2019 school year are Grade 12 student Dakota MacWilliams and Grade 11 student Emma-Grace Coyle. Dakota & Emma-Grace organized a photo booth on Nov. 20 to promote young worker safety.
