Comedian Gerry Dee coming to Charlottetown
A popular Canadian comedian will celebrate a 20-year career this spring by making five appearances in Atlantic Canada. Gerry Dee will bring his trademark humour about marriage, fatherhood and his years of teaching to 14 cities across the country with tour dates spanning from March 1 to May 24. He will appear in Charlottetown on April 26.
“Stand up is where it all started for me 20 years ago,” said Dee.
“I’m very grateful to the fans who have supported me along the way and I look forward to celebrating this milestone with them on the tour.”
The “20 years of Stand Up” tour will follow the eighth and final season of the award-winning sitcom “Mr. D,” which was created and written by Dee.
It is currently airing on CBC and will take its final bow on Dec. 19, 2018.
