Third Annual Buy a Cookie, Buy a Goat Fundraiser set for Dec. 11

Dec. 11 - 3rd Annual Buy a Cookie, Buy a Goat Fundraiser at morning break.

- Christmas Party for the K.R.H.S. Grads of 2019.

Dec. 12 - The Foods 421 class will be hosting a Christmas tea for local seniors.

Dec. 18 - Annual Christmas concert featuring the K.R.H.S. Band. (Storm date is Dec. 20) Dec. 19 - Christmas turkey dinner at noon for the entire student body. No charge.

Dec. 21 - Last day of classes for 2018

SENIORS’ TEA

The Foods 421 class is excited to host a Seniors’ Tea on Wed., Dec. 12 from 1-2 p.m. Students will prepare finger sandwiches, sweets, tea and coffee, and will get to enjoy some time getting to know a senior in our community.

VICTORY IN EUROPE

TOUR 2020

This trip commemorat­es the 75th anniversar­y since the end of the Second World War in Europe as well as important stops from the First World War. Students will be visiting three countries: France, Belgium, and the Netherland­s from April 28 to May 7, 2020.

During the month of December, students are selling tickets on a Christmas house tour (Dec. 14) as well as a gift card tree (winners will be drawn Dec. 14). If you have any questions, please contact Kevin Bustard at 902-887-2424 or kwbustard@ edu.pe.ca.

BUY A COOKIE, BUY A GOAT

On Dec. 11, the students in the Academy Diploma Program in Agricultur­e and BioScience will host their 3rd Annual Buy a Cookie, Buy a Goat Fundraiser. By purchasing a cookie and a glass of milk, we are helping students at our twin school in Kenya (a program through Farmers Helping Farmers).

YULETIDE YIPPEETIME

The ever-popular Yuletide Yippeetime will be back with all kinds of fun contests and activities. These events will take place at K.R.H.S. the week prior to Christmas Break.
