HOGAN, BEVERLEY ANN
The funeral for the late Beverley Ann Hogan, beloved wife of Brian Hogan of Broderick Road, Tignish was held on Wednesday December 5,2018 from the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel Alberton to St. Simon and St. Jude Church Tignish where funeral mass of Con celebration was celebrated at 10;30 a.m by Rev. Charles Broderick who also had the prayers of final commendation and farewell. The co celebrants were Rev. Albin Arsenault and Rev. John Molina who also delivered the Homily. The first reading was addressed by Stephanie Kinch the second reading was addressed Paul Shea. The prayers of the faithful were invited by John Arsenault. The Eucharistic ministers were, Seminarian Walter and Flynn, James Hogan the crucifer was Richard Shea and the candle bearers were Louis Shea and Charles Bernard. The alter server was James Hogan. The choir was under the direction of the cantor Vincent Doucette. The organist was Diane Handrahan. The processional hymn was Amazing Grace. The psalm was The Lord is My Shepherd. The offertory hymn was Isaiah 49. During Communion Abby Peters and Rodney Arsenault (Guitarist) sang two selections, Come to the Water and I Can Only Imagine. The song of fairwell was Songs of the Angels. The recessional hymn was Immaculate Mary. Attending in a body were the members from the Tignish council of the C.W.L. who also on Tuesday evening had prayers form their departed member at 5:45 led by Rev. John Molina and Laureen Handrahan. Scripture readings were addressed by Linda Perry. Everyone present for the funeral liturgy were considered to be Honorary Pallbearers. The Urn bearer was Nephew Isaac Knox. The flower bearers were nephew Jordan Knox, niece Lise Kenny and niece, Lindsey Walsh. Interment was in the church cemetery with Rev. John Molina officiating.
