School life

Katelyn, who was named Evangeline School’s 2018 senior female athlete of the year, is also active in school life, serving as co-editor of the yearbook committee.

“Katelyn has been one of Evangeline’s top female athletes since she enrolled here three years ago,” said Evangeline School athletic director Jason Arsenault. “She is dedicated, confident, respectful and kind, on and off the court. . . Although her skills on the court are impressive, her attitude, character and integrity are just as impressive. She is a pleasure to coach, and an asset for her team and school.” Following graduation from high school in June, Katelyn plans to take a human service course, and her goal is to become a youth worker. She also hopes to continue playing volleyball at college or university.
