The Grade 10 students reign supreme !!!! Congratula­tions to the Gr. 10 class for winning Yuletide Yippeetime. This was a week-long contest prior to Christmas Break, pitting grade versus grade in a variety of fun, festive activities. Here are the results:

THE BLAZER BISTRO

On Dec. 6, ‘The Blazer Bistro’ offered a culinary special of hot steamed mussels served with melted ADL butter, lightly breaded baked haddock, honey roasted carrots, and baby potatoes with a strawberry mousse for dessert! All for $3 and all local. Our last culinary special of 2018 was Christmas Breakfast on Dec. 13 and it was delicious! On Dec. 21, the Culinary students helped prepare our Annual Christmas Turkey Dinner (no charge). Many thanks to Jessica Reeves and her Culinary 801 class.

A warm Blazer welcome to our new Educationa­l Assistant Lydia Pickering. Lydia started at K.R.H.S. on Dec. 11.

ACADEMY DIPLOMA PROGRAM IN AGRICULTUR­E

& BIOSCIENCE

On Dec. 11, the students hosted their 3rd Annual Buy a Cookie, Buy a Goat Fundraiser. By purchasing a cookie and a glass of milk, we were helping students at our twin school in Kenya (a program through Farmers Helping Farmers). We raised over $150. Way to go Blazers!

2019 GRAD NEWS

Christmas Party for the K.R.H.S. Grads of 2019 was on Dec. 11. January Grad Activity is on Jan. 9 after school. The 57th annual commenceme­nt exercises of Kinkora Regional High School will take place on Thurs., June 20 @ 7 p.m.
