Upcoming Dates at Westisle Composite High

Students will not have classes on March 8 due to School Goals Day, or from March 18-22 as it will be March Break. General News

Thank you to Kelly Herget, the Parent Council, and all parents, grandparen­ts, and guardians who have provided food for the staff over the past two weeks.

A reminder that if you are dropping a student off or picking them up to use the visitor’s parking lot and travel through the main entrance. Vehicles are not allowed in the back parking lot by the student entrance as it is quite busy due to the bus traffic.

Thanks to all parents and community members who attended Westisle’s Cannabis Presentati­on last Tuesday. Some great questions were asked, but turnout was low. Anyone seeking more informatio­n or who missed the presentati­on is encouraged to check out the Just the Facts website at www.justthefac­tspei.ca.

Westisle students will be participat­ing in the CSTADS (Canadian Student Tobacco and Drug Survey) on Monday, March 4 during first period.

An informatio­n sheet will be sent out beforehand, and if you do not wish for your child to participat­e have them return a signed copy and return it by Monday.

UPEI will be offering course registrati­on at Westisle on March 26, beginning during first period. Any students planning on attending UPEI are strongly encouraged to attend.
