It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of R. Allison MacMurdo aged 86 years, at the Prince

County Hospital Summerside on Thursday March

7, 2019. Born in Summerside December 26, 1932 the last surviving member of the late Erskine & Kathryn (Woolner) MacMurdo. Uncle of Fairlie (Stephen) McKnight, Neil (Ambyr) Paynter, Aileen (Duncan) Houston, Richard (Theresa) Paynter, Daviddecea­sed (Sandra) Paynter, Ronald (Sharon) Rudderham, Roger (Bev) Rudderham, Rodney (Janet) Rudderham, Mark (Jean-Marie Stinson) Rudderham, Kathie Landon, Sharon Rudderham- deceased (Louis Johnson), Shelley Rudderham (Brad Worrell), Jeff (Lawrie) Hamilton, Gregg (Nadia) Hamilton, Bonnie (Shawn) Dick, Calvin (Kathy) Hamilton. Brother-inlaw of Elwood Paynter (Isabel Palmer) and Wilson Rudderham. Also survived by extended family Robert (Jackie) Paynter and their children Amy (Blake Cousins) and Emily (Andrew MacArthur). Predecease­d by sisters Lois Paynter, Jean (Forrest) Hamilton and Katherine Rudderham and twin brother Ronald Albert MacMurdo in infancy. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington, no visitation by personal request. Public Funeral Thursday March 14 at the Kensington United Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will later take place in People’s Cemetery Kensington.
