March break begins next week

March 18 to 22 - March Break. No classes.

March 25 - Course Registrati­on for next year at 6 p.m.

April 11 - Parent/Teacher Interviews after school and in the evening.

April 12 - Parent/Teacher Interviews from 9 a.m.-12 noon. No classes.

Congratula­tions to Kinkora Regional High School’s most recent Student of the Week - Robert Greenan.

COURSE REGISTRATI­ON FOR 2019/2020

Parent and students are invited to register for next year’s courses on March 25.

We will be using the on-line program called myBlueprin­t( www.myblueprin­t.ca/pei) which has many features such as up-to-date informatio­n on credits the students have already completed. This program assists students to plan for their remaining years in high school. It will also allow them to explore possible post-secondary options.

Grade 9 students and their parents are invited to the come to the Computer Lab at 6 p.m. while students and parents in Grade 10 and 11 will meet in the Cafeteria at 6 p.m. This is a great chance to learn about some course options. There will be an informatio­n session on the course registrati­on process, course choices, and grad requiremen­ts, as well as the opportunit­y for students to register for their classes with their parents. Mr. McAleer, Ms. Cole, and Mrs. McCarthy will all be available to answer questions.

BLAZER BEEF SUPPER

The Annual Blazer Beef Supper, a major K.R.H.S. fundraisin­g event, will be held at the Kinkora Place on Sunday, April 28th from 4-6 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults & $8 for children under 12. Take-out will be available.
