A warm Blazer welcome to Melissa MacLean who is filling in for Jessica Reeves while she is on leave.

Also welcome to U.P.E.I. student Catherine Biollo who is at K.R.H.S. to complete her student teaching practicum.

BUY A COOKIE, BUY A GOAT

On March 3 & 4, the students in the Academy Diploma Program in Agricultur­e & BioScience will host their 4th Annual Buy a Cookie, Buy a Goat Fundraiser.

By purchasing a cookie and a glass of ADL milk, we are helping students at our twin school in Kenya (a program through Farmers Helping Farmers).

PANCAKES FOR CAMDEN

As part of the 2020 K.R.H.S. Winter Carnival, Student Council hosted a pancake breakfast for all students & staff. Admission was by donation with all proceeds going to Camden Kingyens who is battling cancer.

Over $200 was raised. Thanks to everyone who helped make the pancake breakfast a success! We are also hosting a Dodgeball Tournament after March Break to raise more funds for Camden & his family.

CUPCAKE DAY

K.R.H.S. students & staff will be baking & selling cupcakes as a fundraiser for The P.E.I. Humane Society. More details to follow. If interested in helping, please contact Leanne Arsenault.

BLAZER HOCKEY IS BACK

The Annual High School Hockey friendship tournament is coming soon. Both of our boys and girls teams have performed well in the last few years and there are sure to be exciting games again this year.

LIBERATION OF THE NETHERLAND­S 75

This trip takes place from

April 28 to May 7, 2020, and commemorat­es the 75th anniversar­y since the end of World War II in Europe.

Students will be visiting three countries: France, Belgium, & the Netherland­s. They are researchin­g both World Wars as well as veterans who have served in Canada's armed forces. Students will present their findings on Apr. 15 at the Veterans’ Night in the TOSH Cafeteria at 7 p.m.

Students are selling 50/50 tickets every Tuesday evening at the Kinkora BINGO and every Thursday evening at the Borden-Carleton BINGO. If you have any questions, please contact Kevin Bustard.
