GENERAL NEWS
Westisle has had an exciting past few weeks which included motivational speaker, Ian Tyson, that spoke to the entire the student body.
It was an engaging presentation called "Hooray for Everything" that spoke to choices that we are faced with on a daily basis that can be approached differently to lead to a more productive and intentional lifestyle. Many thanks to all who made this possible including Tignish Credit Union as well as Vector Aerospace for their monetary contributions that have allowed for this to happen.
The Chemistry Department at UPEI has an exciting pilot project happening this summer for First Year General Chemistry.
For the Summer Semester, from July 7 until Aug. 11, students will be able to enroll in CHEM 1110, General Chemistry even if they have not taken Grade 12 Chemistry.
This is also a chance to complete one of their courses early, even if they have Grade 12 Chemistry. Please see Westisle's Facebook Parent page for more information.
Westisle would like to send a tremendous thank you to all parents who have contributed and helped out in any way to make our Teacher Appreciation Week a success.
The food was amazing and delicious. Our staff really appreciated all the time and efforts to make them feel appreciated. A big thank you to Tina Lissemore and Shelley Williams for organizing everything.
