More than 20 cyclists will take part to the Loop
More people from CFB Bagotville will participate in the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie ( GDPL) but in a different way than in past years. The Base authorities decided to change the formula and to get more cyclists to get involved. To do so, cyclist will take part of the GDPL Loop instead of the 1,000km trek as in previous years. In the last few years, five or six cyclists took part in the event. Now more than twenty people will start on July 2nd for a 135 km bike ride in Montreal. The activity is now also open to spouses. CFB Bagotville is also taking advantage of this opportunity to re- launch its bike club. The club collaborates closely with the PSP team to prepare cyclists for this activity. There is spots available if you are interested in the challenge. Please note that registration fees do apply. The Loop is part of the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie challenge which aims to promote healthy lifestyles and raises funds for research for rare diseases.
