Le Vortex de Bagotville

Tips for a successful family day

-

While most military members will be at work during the Bagotville International Air Show on June 24th and 25th, family and friends will surely want to attend this event. Here are some practical tips to speed up their access to the site and ensure their safety. First, the free shuttle service provided by the Société de transport de Saguenay ( STS) is the fastest way to get to the site. The buses will leave the Jonquière Highway, the Georges Vézina Center in Chicoutimi and the La Baie Municipal Palace Theater every 15 minutes starting at 7: 15 am on June 24th and 25th. There is no reserved parking for military families or for personnel near the venue. Bottles and cans, alcohol, rigid ice boxes, animals, weapons and camping equipment in general are prohibited on the site. They are also prohibited on the buses. Think small. One must be able to carry what one needs for several hours and walk with it over a certain distance. It is recommended to visit www. saibagotville. com for all the safety instructions related to the access to the site. Provide hearing protection ( ear plugs or ear plugs), sunscreen, sunglasses and some money to buy bottles of water. A wide variety of food will be available on site. Be prepared, do not wait for noon to pick up refreshments or snack, queues can grow quickly when 50,000 people decide to eat at the same time!
