Bagotville Sports Day

The Bagotville PSP team orchestrated the 6th edition of the CAF Sports Day on October 19th. Despite the high operational tempo due to deployments and exercises, more than 427 motivated military personnel participated in the various activities.

A triathlon- decathlon, volleyball tournament, ice skill competitions and a dodge ball tournament took place during this very exciting sports day. CAF Sports Day is a great opportunity to show how important sports are in relation to operational readiness and to promote physical fitness within the CAF. This year's theme was "T H E C A N A D I A N ARMED FORCES SET THE EXAMPLE" and that's exactly what the participants showed. Many were overwhelmed by completing triathlon events for the first time ever. What a great example to follow. See you next year.
