Pedestrian struck by skid-steer loader
A 54 year-old man was transported to a Regina hospital for injuries after he was hit by a skid-steer loader Thursday afternoon. Regina police received a call at approximately 2 p.m. Thursday about a motor vehicle incident on the 5400 block of Watson Way, between what police referred to as “a bobcat machine” and a pedestrian. The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries. The man was later released from the hospital. Occupation Health and Safety and the construction companies are investigating this incident. Police have determined there is no criminal aspect to this case.
