Provincial rugby finals to be held Saturday at Regina Rugby Park

The Saskatchewan Rugby Union’s senior provincial championships are to be held Saturday afternoon at Regina Rugby Park.

At 1 p.m., Regina is to play the Saskatoon Kirin in the senior women’s final. The Campion Grads and Saskatoon Wild Oats are to meet in the senior men’s championship match at 3 p.m.

An exhibition masters game is to be held Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by the provincial-championship matches. Olivia Davies-Redstone had two goals to lead the Sheldon-Williams Spartans to a 2-0 victory over the Balgonie Greenall Griffins in Regina High Schools Athletic Association girls small schools soccer action Thursday.

In a boys large schools match, Arinze Abii-Ndoh had both goals as the LeBoldus Golden Suns defeated the Thom Trojans 2-0.
