-

Hurricanes-Warriors:

The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors tonight at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre. The Hurricanes and Warriors have met three times this season with the home team winning all three match ups thus far.

Fireworks:

Tonight will be the final meeting of the regular season between the Hurricanes and the Warriors. These two teams met just a few weeks ago at the ENMAX Centre when the ‘Canes earned a 3-0 victory. At the end of that game there was a good ol’ fashioned line brawl followed by a couple of fights. We’ll see if tonight picks up where the last game left off.

Elder Statesman:

What a night it was on Saturday for the Hurricanes overage line of Tyler Wong, Matt Alfaro and Zak Zborosky. The three 20-year-old’s combined for a total of 13 points in a 6-2 win over the Saskatoon Blades. Wong had a five point night (2g3a), Alfaro netted his first career hat-trick and had an assist while Zborosky popped in a goal and three helpers.

El Capitano:

Tyler Wong has been outstanding this season. The ‘Canes Captain enters play tonight on a three game point scoring streak having collected nine points (4g-5a) in that span. Wong has 85 points (43g-42a) in 56 games this season and had racked up 29 multi-point games this season.

Time to Clinch:

Entering play tonight the Hurricanes are just one point away from clinching their second consecutive playoff berth. The ‘Canes currently sit with 79 points on the season and only need to reach the 80-point plateau to clinch a playoff spot

Herald Hockey Cards:

Be sure to arrive to the ENMAX Centre early tonight as the Lethbridge Herald will be on hand handing out the annual Lethbridge Hurricanes hockey cards. The first 1,000 fans through the doors tonight will be given a set of the cards.
