• Archaeology Society of Alberta, Lethbridge Centre will hold its monthly meeting March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lethbridge Public Library (main branch). Erika Sutherland will discuss “Discovering an Ancient Capital - The Ness of Brodgar, Orkney.” The site has so far revealed the largest collection of dressed and decorated stone from Neolithic Britain, a complex collection of pottery from far reaches of Scotland and some of the first evidence of painted walls and stones in Northern Europe. Everyone is welcome.
• Sunrise Village, 1730 10 Ave. S., will host a Mini Spa Day March 7 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Manicures $20, pedicures $30, 15-minute mini massages $10, foot massages $20, all by a qualified therapist from Axes Images Spa. Walk-ins welcome.

• Galt Museum and Archives’ Daytime Galt Workshops hands-on history program for adults and seniors continues March 8 from 10:30 a.m.-noon, featuring “Tambourines.” Make a tambourine and find out about the history of music in southern Alberta. Admission fees apply (includes exhibit access); free to annual pass holders.
• A book launch will take place March 8 from 1:30-4 p.m. in Room PB210 at the Dr. James Foster Penny Building, 324 5 St. S., for the book “Canadian Perspectives on Immigration in Small Cities,” edited by Glenda Tibe Bonifacio of the University of Lethbridge and Julie Drolet. Bonifacio is associate professor of Women and Gender Studies at the U of L. The book examines immigration to small cities throughout Canada. It explores the distinct challenges brought about by the influx of people to urban communities which typically have less than 100,000 residents.
• Revellers Dinner and Games Night will be held March 8 at the basement level at The Keg (Country Kitchen Catering) on Mayor Magrath Drive S. Facility is wheelchair accessible. • Prairie Tractor and Engine Museum Society holds a directors’ meeting the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Kleeman Building at the Pioneer Village of Coyote Flats on Prairie Tractor property (1.5 km south of Picture Butte High School on Highway 843).
