- Delon Shurtz LETHBRIDGE HERALD

Several people charged following an ALERT drug bust in February will be back in court next month.

Sharon Nicole Voyko and James Frederick Shaw of Lethbridge were in provincial court Friday but had their matters adjourned to May 8. Jadeyn Tyeisha Cross of Shaughnessy, who did not attend court but was represented by her lawyer, Tyson Dahlem of Calgary, will also return to court the same day.

Court was told Dahlem needs time to review an extensive amount of disclosure, and Voytko needs more time to retain a lawyer through Legal Aid.

A fourth accused, Katlyn Miller of Penticton, B.C., was not scheduled to be in court Friday, but is set to have a hearing next week.

On Feb. 20 ALERT's organized crime and gang team, with the assistance of Lethbridge Police and the RCMP, intercepted a vehicle just west of Lethbridge that was loaded with drugs and travelling from Calgary.

Following the traffic stop, police searched a home in the 1600 block of St. George Road North and seized more drugs. Some $2,555 in cash was also seized.
