Another exciting weekend of racing awaits at RMTC

- Rocky Mountain Turf Club

The upcoming weekend of horse racing at Rocky Mountain Turf Club will no doubt be an outstanding one. There are eight live races Saturday and Sunday, with post time at 1:15 p.m.

As we continue to celebrate 250 years of horse racing history, after one visit to R.M.T.C. you will no doubt understand why horse racing has survived for this long period of time.

Of course, horse racing has progressed tremendously with all of the modern advancements made available.

But the one thing that has stayed the same is that there is no feeling in the world like watching a horse you bet on come flying past the wire for the victory.

Attendance so far this year is up and there are more events than ever at R.M.T.C. to take part in, over and above horse racing itself.

Rose Rossi will be on hand for her various children’s activities, including the Candy Scramble and whatever else she pulls out of her magic back of delights.

Of course, inside at Bully’s Entertainment Centre there are over 100 V.L.T.’s and simulcast racing from all over North America that a person can watch and wager on. A full menu is also available, as you will no doubt work up an appetite cheering on your favourite horses throughout the day.

This weekend is the A.Q.H.A. Maiden Challenge, featuring veteran trainers such as Donalda Cochrane and William Leech, who will no doubt be in the hunt for the money.

Also, outstanding mare, Officer’s Charm, trained by Dallas Birdrattler and owned by Gordon Howg, will be running. Just having an opportunity to watch this mare run is worth the trip to the track.

R.M.T.C. also welcomes High Level Law for their annual Paddock Party. A Paddock Party is a great way for a company to have a staff outing that will stand out forever as one of the best.

Call Rose Rossi at 403-3801905 to book yours. You won’t regret it.
