CALGARY — Tamara Lovett, convicted of criminal negligence causing the death of her seven-year-old son, makes a court appearance to set a sentencing date following a psychiatric assessment. Ryan Lovett died in 2013 after contracting a strep infection.
EDMONTON — Bail decision expected for Tasha Mack, charged with seconddegree murder, criminal negligence causing death, failing to provide the necessities and assault in the death of a toddler found outside an Edmonton church.
LETHBRIDGE — Trial for Derek Saretzky, charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the 2015 deaths of Terry Blanchette, his two-yearold daughter Hailey Dunbar Blanchette and Hanne Meketech. Through July 18.
RED DEER — Const. Jason Tress to appear in court on two charges of sexual assault and two counts of breach of trust.
