County taxes remain due at end of July

Lethbridge County property owners’ taxes are due at the end of July.

But officials say some owners report they haven’t yet received their statements, mailed on May 26. If that’s the case, they say owners should call the County office for another copy.

Penalties for taxes outstanding after July 31 start at five per cent, with an additional five per cent added Sept. 30 and Nov. 30. For owners who want to dispute their assessment, July 25 is the last date to file notice.
