The Lethbridge Bulls will settle for a split with the Brooks Bombers.

The Bombers topped the Bulls 7-5 during Western Major Baseball League play Sunday afternoon in Brooks.

The Bulls led 5-0 after twoand-a-half innings, but Bombers answered back with one run in the third inning and three more in the fifth and seventh innings to complete the comeback after the Bulls topped Brooks 5-3 Saturday night at Spitz Stadium.

With the split the Bulls are now 18-13 and three games behind the Western Divisionleading Okotoks Dawgs (2110) who are on a four-game winning streak.

On Sunday, the Bulls jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a threerun home run from Jesse Hilyard that also scored Dylan Flasch and Alex Bishop.

Lethbridge added to that lead in the third inning on a two-run shot by Nolan Handley for a 5-0 lead. But that was it at the plate for the Bulls as the Bombers plated seven unanswered runs for the win despite being outhit 8-6.

Hitting leadoff, Flasch was 2-for-5 with one run scored, while Handley was 2-for-4 with one run scored and two RBI.

Handley’s home run was his fourth of the season and boosts his RBI total to 17.

Hilyard now has three home runs this year and 13 RBI.

The Bulls return home to Spitz Stadium Tuesday when they host the Edmonton Prospects at 7:05 p.m.
