• Lethbridge Duplicate Bridge Club will be starting a new season of bridge classes. For those interested in “Defence,” classes will begin Monday,

Sept. 11 and run until Monday, Nov. 27 (no class Oct. 9 - Thanksgivi­ng). For those who wish to continue with or attend “Bidding and Play,” classes will begin Tuesday, Sept. 12 and continue until Nov. 28, with no classes Oct. 3 or

Nov. 7. The club will be starting “Introducti­on to Bridge” classes for those real beginners who have never played bridge, or maybe even cards. This will be a series of six classes beginning Tuesday, Sept 12 and ending Oct. 17 (no class Oct. 3). If you know of anyone who would like to learn the game, please let them know. • The Galt Museum will present a Special Family Program for all ages, “Up in the Air,” Aug. 31 from 1-4 p.m. Join artist Ed Pien and take a turn flying one of his custom fish kites made in response to the effects of climate change for water in southern Alberta. • Interfaith Food Bank will conduct another round of free FoodFit classes starting in September, running

Mondays or Wednesdays (both day and evening options available). FoodFit brings community members together to set goals, learn skills, and make measurable changes in overall health and fitness. All proceeds will help defray costs associated with club operations for this brand new volunteer-driven, non-profit hockey team for players 18 years and over.

• Revellers Dinner and Games Night will be held Sept. 6 at the basement level of The Keg (Country Kitchen Catering). Facility is wheelchair accessible.
