MNP LLP, one of Canada’s largest accounting and business consulting firms, is paying it forward, contributing a part of the fees of each new Lethbridge client referred to the firm towards a worthy community organization.

Starting Oct. 12 and running for three years, for every referral provided to MNP Lethbridge office, MNP will reach out and make a donation of five per cent of our first year’s fees to the Youth One Centre.

“MNP is proud to do our part to make Lethbridge an even better place to live by supporting organizations like Youth One through our Reach Out – Pay Forward campaign,” said Diana Render, CPA, CA, regional managing partner. “We recognize and praise Youth One for offering important support, services and programs that build up our young people, so they in turn will have the opportunity influence their communities and the world.”

Youth One launched in 2014 when the four partners and founders — Jordan Schellenberg, President; Clayton Herder, COO; Mitch Harty, CEO and Bri Thomas, Outreach Director — all left their careers to realize their vision for the centre. Since its inception, Youth One has grown rapidly, giving young people in our city an accessible, safe, supportive, fun and free place to be during the day and after school.

Jordan Schellenberg, president and executive lead, Youth One, said his team is grateful and excited about being selected to be a part of MNP’s Reach Out Program. “These funds mean a great deal for our centre because it will be money that we can use where it is needed most and allow us to offer even more support to our youth.”

“MNP chose Youth One because the group’s vision aligned with our firm’s commitment of helping youthbased charities in our communities. Also, everything they do directly benefits Lethbridge and surrounding area so we know our charity dollars stay in the same community in which we live and work. Our objective is to not only raise money for Youth One but to build awareness for the organization as well as our support for the community. As a firm, we are proud to get involved with community initiatives and couldn’t be more excited about the next three years.”
