LETHBRIDGE — Sentencing for a couple who pleaded guilty to failing to provide the necessaries of life to their young daughter who was barely alive when she was taken to hospital in the summer of 2013. Court was told her health problems developed over time from untreated dental cavities.
RED DEER — Trial begins for Jason Klaus and Joshua Frank, charged with firstdegree murder and arson in the deaths of Klaus's parents and his sister. Police believe Gordon and Sandra Klaus, along with their daughter Monica Klaus, died in a house fire in December 2013.
