Local sports teams can get ‘Linkt’
Bert & Mac’s Source for Sports has enrolled in the TeamLinkt Community Partner Program and is now providing sports teams in Lethbridge with free access to the TeamLinkt Sports Team Management App.
Teams in Lethbridge can take advantage of the TeamLinkt Pro Plan — at no cost to them. The app makes it easy for coaches, players and parents to stay organized and connected during the season, no matter the sport. Teams can share player rosters, schedules, availability, photos and more — and through the technology, teams have a better season.
Daniel Court, hockey director at Bert & Mac’s SFS, wanted to give back to the local sports community in a big way. Understanding the benefits this technology provides and presented with the opportunity to get involved to start saving local teams money, he jumped on it and is excited about the feedback he’s getting from coaches and parents.
“Being an athlete takes a big commitment from families, associations, and all the behind-the-scenes folks that help pull it all off (team managers, etc),” Court said in a news release. “This was a way to provide a great tool for teams to get organized without any added expense to them.”
TeamLink core features of TeamLinkt include the ability share rosters and contact information, game and practice schedules, waiver forms, health information, player availability and photos. Set availability for games and practices and see who is coming, so you never forfeit a game. Get reminders and send out instant notifications if locations or times change. Schedule your games, events, practices and sync TeamLinkt with iCal, Google Calendar and more.
TeamLinkt is a Canadian company based in Saskatoon, SK, and has been partnering with community-minded sporting goods stores across Canada and the U.S.
Medicine Hat teams wanting to get free access are welcome to stop by the Sports Connection store, or they can sign up online at www.teamlinkt.com/bertandmacs.
