• Galt Museum’s Wednesdays at the Galt hands-on history program for adults and seniors continues Jan. 10 from 2-3 p.m., featuring “Comic Collecting.” Join Wallie, owner of Kapow Comics, Cards and Games, as he explains the beginnings of comic book collecting and how his own comic collection led him to start his own comic store. • Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Club will present Malanka, celebratin­g Ukrainian New Year’s, Jan. 20 at the German Canadian Club, 902 6 St. N. Featuring a special performanc­e by the Troyanda Dance Club followed by a Ukrainian dinner featuring perogies, sausage, etc. The evening will be topped off with live music by Ukrainian band Absolute, along with the always popular “Kolomeyka,” a circle dance where special tricks and impressive dance moves are displayed. Evening includes a silent auction, raffles and games, midnight lunch, and a fun photo booth with authentic Ukrainian costumes and props. Tickets are $55 for
