• Galt Museum’s Saturdays at 1:00 hands-on history program for families will continue Jan. 13 from 1-2 p.m., featuring “Traditional Blackfoot Territory.” Come learn about the traditional Blackfoot territory, listen to stories from the Galt’s Blackfoot Cultural Interpreter Blanche Bruisedhead and make your own map to take home. Admission fees apply (includes exhibit access); free to annual pass holders.
• Six O’clock in the Chapel, an evening Vesper service with beautiful music, will be held Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. in Buchanan Chapel at Southminster United Church, featuring inspiring reflections by Jane Meaker. This brief, intimate service is open to everyone. Enter at the chapel doors, 1011 4 Ave. S.
• General Stewart Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion hosts Euchre Saturdays at 10 a.m. Bring your partner to play. For more information call the office at 403-327-6644.
• West Wind Gymnastics Club offers drop-in fun on Saturdays from 2-4 p.m. It’s a great opportunity to practise your gymnastic skills in a friendly, supervised environment. Age 5 and under $6 and must be accompanied by an adult; 6 and older $12.

• Trigeminal Neuralgia Support Group meets the second Saturday of the month at 2 p.m. in Room C and D at the LSCO, 500 11 St. S. Trigeminal neuralgia is a neuropathic disorder characterized by episodes of intense pain in the face, originating from the trigeminal nerve. Individuals with TN and their family members are invited to attend meetings. • Helen Schuler Nature Centre will host a Discovery Walk, “Let It Snow,” Jan. 14 from 2-3 p.m. Join an interpreter for an all-ages walk through the Nature Reserve. For details, call 403-320-3064.
• Narcotics Anonymous meets Sundays at 7 p.m. at Chinook Meeting Hall, 408 13 St. N. • Building Cultural Bridges will hold its next weekly presentation Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Multicultural Centre, with the topic “Philippines.”
• The 2018 Runner’s Soul Marathon Club registration night will take place Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. at the University of Lethbridge, Room PE 250. Guest speaker will be Tarrant Cross Child, winner of the 1998 Saskatchewan Marathon who is back training and coaching after having his running career derailed by a decadelong alcohol and gambling addiction. Free admission to the event; everyone welcome.
• Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization will offer “Introduction to Computers” Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 15-24 from 10 a.m.noon at the LSCO, 500 11 St. S. This class is designed for anyone learning to use a computer for the first time, or for anyone who feels lost in front of a modern computer. The class will guide you in the basics of using the computer, and allow you to navigate the computer more confidently. Fee: $30 for LSCO members, $50 for non-members. • All women are invited to a brunch and program Jan. 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Luigi’s Banquet Room in Taber. Musical entertainment by soloist Kathie Friesen, and inspiration by Rhonda Wiens from Bow Island, speaking about “The Big Picture.” Guest feature will be presented by Dawn Kondas from the Taber Library. • The Alberta Genealogical Society Lethbridge Branch will hold its monthly meeting Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at Room 128,

• Helen Schuler Nature Centre’s Extreme by Nature program for ages 1115 continues Jan. 20 from 1:30-4 p.m. with “Get Lost! Winter Edition.” Learn some basic wilderness survival skills through a series of fun team challenges. Call to register, 403-320-3064.
• Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Club will present Malanka, celebrating Ukrainian New Year’s, Jan. 20 at the German Canadian Club, 902 6 St. N. Featuring a special performance by the Troyanda Dance Club followed by a Ukrainian dinner featuring perogies, sausage, etc. The evening will be topped off with live music by Ukrainian band Absolute, along with the always popular “Kolomeyka,” a circle dance where special tricks and impressive dance moves are displayed. Evening includes a silent auction, raffles and games, midnight lunch, and a fun photo booth with authentic Ukrainian costumes and props. • The annual Lethbridge Antique and Toy Show and Sale will take place Jan. 2021 at the South Pavilion at Exhibition Park, running Jan.
20 from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and Jan. 21 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission $4 (12 and under free); proceeds go to charity. Featuring antique and vintage furniture, jewellery, glassware, toys and games; farmhouse, country and cottage decor; diecast, sport, military, comic, coin and farm collectibles; handmade dolls, barnwood frames, quilts and more. • Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization will offer “Saturday Flow Yoga” Saturdays, Jan. 20-Feb. 24 (no class Feb. 17) from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the LSCO, 500 11 St. S. This morning class will leave you feeling peaceful and grounded with a blend of heat building, strength, balance and stretching while mindfully linking breath to movement. • Lethbridge Senior Citizens
Organization will offer “Senior Martial Arts Fitness Class,” with Session 1 running Saturdays, Jan. 20-Feb. 24 from 10-11 a.m. at the LSCO, 500 11 St. S. This 6-week class is designed for older adults to challenge and improve balance, co-ordination, strength and general fitness through martial art movements and exercises. • Building Cultural Bridges will hold its next weekly presentation Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Multicultural Centre, with the topic “Hungary.”
• Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization will offer “Adult CPR” Jan. 23 from 10 a.m.-noon at the LSCO, 500 11 St. S. This class is designed to allow participants to learn the basic skills of Adult CPR and AED use as well as relief-of-choking skills. This is not a certification course. • Transitions, a 15-week peer support program to help those who are separated or divorced, will take place Tuesday evenings beginning Jan. 30 from 7-9 p.m. at St. Basil’s Parish Hall (604 13 St. N.). Participants will meet once a week to reflect upon and discuss topics such as self-esteem, grief, stress, anger, guilt, blame, loneliness, forgiveness, blended families and more.
