• Building Cultural Bridges will hold its next weekly presentati­on Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Multicultu­ral Centre, with the topic “Ukraine” with guest speaker Donna Whitton.

• The Lethbridge Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Associatio­n will meet Jan. 29 at 7:15 p.m. at the Lethbridge Senior Citizen Centre, 500 11 St. S. The group helps newly diagnosed people to adjust to their gluten-free diet and also talk about recipes, restaurant­s, travelling, new research, organize cookie exchanges, gluten-free potlucks and special events. Everyone is welcome. The group meets three times a year, on the last Monday of January, May and September. • Free outdoor fit camp, for all ages and all abilities, runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at two locations in the city. • Swing Bridge Dance Club meets Mondays from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

• Transition­s, a 15-week peer support program to help those who are separated or divorced, will take place Tuesday evenings beginning Jan. 30 from 7-9 p.m. at St. Basil’s Parish Hall (604 13 St. N.). Participan­ts will meet once a week to reflect upon and discuss topics such as self-esteem, grief, stress, anger, guilt, blame, loneliness, forgivenes­s, blended families and more. • Galt Museum’s Saturdays at 1:00 hands-on history program for families will continue Feb. 3 from 1-2 p.m., featuring “Traditiona­l Blackfoot Diet and Medicine.” Come learn about the traditiona­l Blackfoot foods and medicine, listen to stories from the Galt’s Blackfoot Cultural Interprete­r Blanche Bruisedhea­d and decorate your own pouch to take home. Instructio­n will be given each week to create simple, healthy meals to be taken home. • Lethbridge College’s Winter Open House will take place Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college’s Centre Core, offering an opportunit­y for potential students to learn more about the college’s programs, student services, residences, clubs and anything else that may help their post-secondary decision-making. The day will include the opportunit­y to speak with faculty, take campus tours and visit interactiv­e program areas. Applicatio­ns to Lethbridge College can even be done on the spot.
