Lightning storm past the Regulators

The Lethbridge Lightning ended the month on a winning note Friday night, beating the Piikani Regulators 14-2 in Ranchland Hockey League action. The win improves the Lightning to 9-6-0-1. Taylor Bilodeau scored three goals and added two assists for a five-point night, while Ben Bohle also had the hat trick and added an assist. Cam Hurt had six assists.

Cody Berube had two goals and two assists and Cole Matson also scored twice.

Nolan McElroy, Kevin Mayowski, Justice Taylor and Shane Eyre each added one.

Mayowski added an assist for two points and Nic Bohle and Devery Edmonds added two assists each. Dillan Kelly earned the win in goal. The Lightning host the second place Siksika Buffaloes (13-2-0-0) Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
