While police continue to look for a suspect in connection with a stabbing in Lethbridge a week ago, two others have already made their first court appearance.

Rodney Kelsey Bottle of Cardston and Jesse Dean Davidson of Raymond appeared in Lethbridge provincial court Tuesday, but had their matters adjourned to later in the month. Bottle, 35, was represented by duty counsel and returns to court Friday. Davidson, 23, was represented by Lethbridge lawyer Claudia Connolly and his next court hearing is set for Feb. 15.

Both men appeared by closed-circuit TV from the Lethbridge Correctional Centre where they have been remanded.

At about 7:12 p.m. Jan. 30 police and EMS responded to an assault at the London Road Esso/Mac’s store in the 700 block of 6 Avenue South. Police found a 35-year-old man with life-threatening injuries, and he was taken by EMS to Chinook Regional Hospital then transferred to Calgary.

Following an investigation by the violent crimes Unit, police charged Bottle, Davidson and 35-year-old Jonathan Travis Holy White Man of Standoff with one count each of aggravated assault.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Holy White Man. Anyone with information on Holy White Man’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 403-3284444 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police say the four men are known to each other and the incident was not random.
