Two men face firearms charges
Police have charged two men with firearms offences following a high-risk search at a southside home Tuesday.
The critical incident response team searched a home in the 2100 block of Palm Road South after receiving information the occupants had a firearm.
Police recovered a 12-gauge shotgun and rounds of ammunition, and two men were taken into custody. One man was charged and the other released without charges. Police were unable to find a third man and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Brandon Michael CosterTarcon, 28, is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence, knowingly possessing an unauthorized firearm, possession of an offensive weapon, careless use/storage of a firearm. Coster-Tarcon was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
Braydon Shane Fuson, 18, for whom the warrant was issued, is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, three counts of possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm obtained by crime, careless use of a firearm, knowingly possessing an unauthorized firearm, and possession of an offensive weapon.
