BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF LETHBIDGE & DISTRICT – MENTOR VOLUNTEERS

Big Brothers Big Sisters are looking for three male volunteers and three female volunteers, preferably of Blackfoot heritage, to offer their services in a group

mentorship program that they will be running at the Piikani Nation Secondary School (PNSS). They will have two programs running simultaneo­usly, one for boys, the other for girls. They will be working with children ages 11-14 from 3:45 p.m.5:15 p.m. once a week, for 7 weeks. BBBS will provide transporta­tion to and from PNSS for all volunteers. Volunteers will need to complete their approval process before the sessions start. Seedy Saturday on Saturday, March 24. Specific volunteer roles include: set-up (help with exhibitor loading and setup, setting up tables and chairs), take-down (help take down tables and chairs and sweep hall, greeter, seed swap table, activities assistant (help with event activities such as seed starting & kids activities) & a floater (support exhibitors and organizers). LETHBRIDGE FOOD BANK – CAN-STRUCTION VOLUNTEERS The Lethbridge Food Bank is looking for a couple of outgoing

volunteer to help them supervise the CAN structures (different structures made of canned goods) and encourage people to donate and vote for the People’s Choice Award for CAN Structure. LETHBRIDGE YOUTH FOUNDATION/5TH ON 5TH – ENVELOPE STUFFER VOLUNTEERS

The Lethbridge Youth Foundation/5th on 5th is looking for one or two volunteers to help them stuff a large amount of envelopes for

mailout. You can choose to come on Tuesday, February 27 or Wednesday, February 28. There is approximat­ely 3-4 hours of work to do and it can be split between the 2 days if you prefer. It will take place at 5th on 5th Youth Services between 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (there is some flexibilit­y on the time). MY VICTORY LETHBRIDGE – MINDFUL MUNCHIES VOLUNTEER DRIVER My Victory Lethbridge is looking for three volunteer drivers to

deliver food to schools in the north end, South end and West side. Volunteers are required to have a valid driver’s licence, a criminal record check letter as they go into schools and will need to do a food safety course with Lethbridge Food Bank.
