Door prizes, snacks and a welcoming group. • Army Navy Air Force Unit 34 will host a general meeting Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in Dieppe Hall. Guests from Provincial Command will be in attendance and elections will be held. It is important that all members be in attendance.

• A free, roundtable discussion session about investing, finance, economics and financial literacy will be held Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. (Location to be announced based upon number of attendees). Hosted by a 30-year industry veteran. Sessions are intended to help people learn how to protect their financial health and learn to confidentl­y understand or manage their own investment­s. No products, no selling, no sales agents allowed. Just self-help questions and answers. The Who, What, Where, When and Why of things financial will be discussed. • Are you looking for a free place to get your kids out of the house doing productive things on a Thursday evening? Me and My Family promotes learning through play in a space designed for caregivers and their children to explore and grow. • “A Taste of Jazz” will take place March 3 at 7 p.m. at College Drive Community Church, 2710 College Drive S., featuring the Lethbridge Community Brass Choir and specal guests Altius Brass. The event will feature works written and performed by past and present jazz greats. • Southern Alberta Community Living Associatio­n (SACLA) and Geomatic Attic will present the 3rd annual “Community Cabaret” March 3 at 7 p.m. at the German Canadian Club, 902 6 St. N. Featuring Metis Red River jigging with Pogo, Taiko drumming by Hibikaya followed by Lethbridge dance band Hippodrome. Cost: Adults only, $20 per person which includes a lunch. • The 9th Annual Gluten and DairyFree Dinner will take place March 6 at the Garden Court Restaurant at Lethbridge College. The family-friendly dinner starts at 6 p.m., with the meal prepared by the college’s Culinary Careers students. There will also be a number of door prizes courtesy of local businesses. Tickets are $44 for aduts and $25 for children (prices include GST and one glass of wine or a soft drink). An invigorati­ng class held to upbeat music that provides modified, lowimpact moves for active older adults. Fee: $32 for LSCO members, $42 for nonmembers.
