Drive will take place throughout April in several communitie­s, including Lethbridge, where the campaign will benefit the Interfaith Food Bank. Non-perishable food items can be dropped up at any Sobeys or Safeway store until April 30. An in-store event will be held April 21 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., with pre-packaged food hampers available for $5 or $10. Volunteers will be on hand to accept donations of food and funds for the food bank.

• Galt Museum’s Daytime Galt Workshops hands-on history program for adults and seniors continues April 4 from 10:30 a.m.noon, featuring “Silhouette­s.” Learn about the history of this art and create your own silhouette of a person from Lethbridge history. Admission fees apply; free to annual pass holders.

• Galt Museum’s Wednesdays at the Galt lecture series for adults and seniors continues April 4 from 2-3 p.m., featuring “The Art and Imagery of Ancient Coinage.” Greek and Roman coins are some of the most accomplish­ed specimens of the minter’s art. The images they portray provide insight into contempora­ry events and the messages and propaganda that states broadcast to their subjects. Christophe­r Epplett will discuss some of the noteworthy coins in his collection, as objects of art and historical artifacts. Admission fees apply; free to annual pass holders.

• Harambee Grandmas, Lethbridge chapter of the Stephen Lewis Foundation's "Grandmothe­rs to Grandmothe­rs Campaign," will host its next Travel Chat April 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the ATB Financial Community Room at Casa, 230 8 St. S., featuring “Antarctica, Chile and Easter Island.” Join presenters John and Jerri Bolton as they share their discovery of the breaktakin­g natural wonders to be found in these remote and exquisite locations in the Southern Hemisphere. • Chinook 2018 One Act Festival will take place April 6 in the ATB Community Room at Casa, 230 8 St. S., hosted by the Playgoers of Lethbridge. Doors open at 6 p.m., performanc­es start at 6:30 p.m. An evening of four exciting short plays, with adjudicati­on to follow. Winning play will represent Chinook Region at the Provincial Festival in Fort McMurray in May. Tickets $10 at the door (includes free refreshmen­ts).
