Registration is now open for table rentals. Rent a table to sell your children’s used toys, clothing, games, sports equipment and anything else kid- or maternity-related. This is a great community recycling program that keeps items out of our landfills and provides the opportunity to purchase items for families at lower costs. Table rentals are $25 if selling used kids’ items, or $30 if selling crafts, new or business items (kid-related). Admission to the event is $4/adult. Bike drop-off from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., bike sale from 2:30-4 p.m. The aim of the event is to give bikes a second chance a keep them out of the landfill. The swap is a non-profit event that returns half of the profits back into the community to fund safe cycling and make informative tech-check bikes accessible. The other half stays in the bank to fund more community events. For more information, visit http://albertabikeswap.ca. • Galt Museum’s Saturdays at 1:00 hands-on history program for adults to attend with children continues April 28 from 1-2 p.m., featuring “Arbor Day.” Learn more about how Arbor Day was started and create your own painting of trees in celebration of this day. Admission fees apply; free to annual pass holders.

• McGill Boulevard Music and Arts will hold its final recital of its 10th-anniversary year April 28 at 4 and 7 p.m. at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 260 McGill Blvd. West. Partnered since 2007 in ministry with Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, McGill offers affordable music and arts lessons. It is a non-profit organization relying on donations and grants to operate. There will be opportunities to become a society member or support fundraising efforts during, before and after the recital. For more information, visit www.mcgillmusicandarts.com. • Latin Music Live, a fundraiser for Music For Life Africa (MULIA), will take place April 28 at The Miz City Church, 502 13 St. N., featuring a new Lethbridge band, Latino Rev. Tickets are $10 at the door or in advance at Blueprint Records, 519, 4 Ave. S. Latino Rev consists of 14 members including Erica Hunt and Ashley Thomson on vocals, Brad Brauwer on drums, Bente Hansen on piano, and Ryan Heseltine on alto sax. The event will feature classic Latin songs, one of which will be in collaboration with a performance by local traditional Colombian dance group Mi Colombia Linda. Food will include empanadas and a taco bar provided by local caterer Antojitos. All proceeds will benefit MULIA, which aims to cultivate the artistic talents of disadvantaged children in a Ugandan village. • The Dutch Canadian Club invites the public to the annual “King’s Birthday Ball” (Oranjiebal in Dutch), a dinner and dance

• Vox Musica Choral Society, conductor Glenn Klassen, will present Mozart Requiem with members of the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra April 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Southminster United Church, 1011 4 Ave. S. The all-Mozart evening also features guest artists Musaeus performing Serenade in G Major, K. 525 (Eine Kleine Nachtmusik) and Divertimento in F Major, K.138. • Legends Pub and Grill, 2433 Fairway Plaza Rd. S., will host a benefit event

28 at the Gem of the West Museum in Coaldale, 1306 20 Ave. 10:30 a.m. Mennonite Historical Society of Alberta AGM; 1:30 p.m. - Exhibit opening program and reception. Dirks will present the “Along the Road to Freedom” story; local stories will be shared by Henry Janzen, Herta Janzen and Henry Heidebrecht. Donations accepted.

• Ben Price Magic will present “Rabbit Stew,” an interactive magic show April

• Galt Museum’s Indigenous History Program takes place every Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon, exploring Indigenous history through story-telling and hands-on activities.
